Maria Teresa Giuntini Shlaudeman
Maria Teresa leads Siso’s business development and stakeholder engagement efforts. In her role, she is responsible for building strategic relationships with clients and leveraging the firm’s network of local experts across government and the private sector. Her primary focus is on driving positive outcomes for clients by matching their specific needs with the skills and knowledge of our specialized partners on the ground.
Maria Teresa brings more than 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in the Brazilian government, foreign diplomatic missions, and the private sector. Through her career, she has held key positions as a project manager, policy analyst, adviser, and inter-agency representative, contributing her deep knowledge of Brazilian policy, extensive network of contacts, and unique ability to provide keen insights to support decision-making. Her fields of expertise include public health, science, technology and innovation, environment, and trade.

Harry R. Shlaudeman
Harry coordinates Siso’s research and insight work. He applies advanced research, analysis, communications, and cross-cultural fluency skills to deliver strategic reviews of Brazilian policy trends. In his capacity, he strives to provide meaningful insights on the Brazilian context, clarify complex domestic issues, and provide future assessments to help clients drive future planning and achieve positive outcomes.
Harry previously spent two decades working in Brazil, where he built a profound understanding of the country’s political system, economy, and business environment. As an independent consultant for Brazilian government agencies and external clients, Harry produced discerning analytical content and briefings on the implications of complex policy issues for decision-makers across a spectrum of subject areas, including Brazilian political, legislative, and regulatory developments, environmental and energy policy, transportation and infrastructure projects, foreign relations, and governance and integrity systems.
